Armstrong Volleyball Sweeps Cooper
The Armstrong volleyball team swept Cooper Thursday in a matchup of Robbinsdale district rivals.
Underdog Cooper started off strong, leading for a good portion of the first set before Armstrong rallied to win 25-22.
Armstrong pulled away to win set two 25-15 and they rolled to a 25-8 win in the third set.
Both teams have new head coaches this season.
Former Osseo star Tiara Russell is Cooper’s new head coach.
Christine Denson and Mike Vogel are now co-head coaches for Armstrong.
