Armstrong Girls Soccer Beats Hopkins
The Armstrong girls soccer team beat Hopkins 3-1 in the Section 6AA quarterfinals.
The Royals scored the first goal late in the first half and took a 1-0 lead into the second half.
Armstrong’s Jessica Hanley scored a couple minutes into the second half to tie it.
Kaitsy Baker scored on a header off a corner kick from Olivia Barfnecht to give the Falcons the lead for good.
Armstrong plays Cretin-Derham Hall in the semifinals Saturday.
