Armstrong Girls Lacrosse Pulls Away to Beat Osseo-Park Center
The Armstrong girls lacrosse team dominated the second half on the way to a 14-5 win over Osseo-Park Center Wednesday.
The Falcons started fast, scoring twice in the first 1:08 of the contest.
Both goalies made some good saves in the first half, with Grace Otieno of OPC being tested repeatedly.
Armstrong’s Lydia College didn’t face as many shots but came up with a few impressive saves, too.
Armstrong had a 6-2 lead at halftime.
They wore the Crocs down in the second half, scoring six straight goals in a seven minute span.
Sydney Smith scored four goals for the Falcons, all in the second half. Ella Steinke netted three goals.
Erin Palony, Brielle Anderson, and Claire Sondrall each scored twice for Armstrong.
The Falcons are now 6-2 and face a key contest against Maple Grove Friday.
