Armstrong Girls Basketball Wins Season Opener
The Armstrong girls basketball team won its season opener Thursday.
The Falcons beat Irondale 48-39 in overtime.
Armstrong outscored the Knights 9-0 in overtime, with Karlee Fisher hitting six free throws in OT.
Fisher scored 14 points to lead the Falcons.
Ella Brugnoli and Savannah McGowan added ten points each.
Missy Jarmoluk scored 12 points for Irondale.
Armstrong hosts St. Paul Como Friday night.
