Armstrong Girls Basketball Team Edges MG
The Armstrong girls basketball team edged Maple Grove 41-39 Tuesday night.
Savannah McGowan scored on a putback at the buzzer to give the Falcons the win.
The victory moved Armstrong into a tie for second place with Maple Grove in the Northwest Suburban West.
Masengo Mutanda and Carly Krsul each scored 18 points to lead Armstrong.
