Armstrong Girls Basketball Falls to Rogers
Underdog Armstrong had the lead for much of the first half before Rogers took over to win 64-40 in a Northwest Suburban Conference girls basketball game.
Audri Petro had 11 first half points as Armstrong stayed with the Royals, who led 28-21 at halftime.
Rogers’ press paid off as they forced several turnovers and started the second half on a 16-0 run and never looked back.
Kinnley Colligan had a game-high 26 points to lead Rogers.
Brooklyn Gerber had 17 and Petro 13 for Armstrong.
It’s the eighth win in their last nine games for Rogers.
