Armstrong Girls Basketball Beats Totino-Grace
The Armstrong girls basketball team evened its record at 3-3 in Northwest Suburban Conference games with a 62-48 win over Totino-Grace Tuesday.
Savannah McGowan scored 14 of her 22 points in the first half and teammate Malayna Dille-Starks scored 18 of her 21 points in the second half to lead the Falcons.
Karlee Fisher added 12 points in the win for Armstrong.
Itoro Etuko scored 10 to lead the Eagles.
Defending state class AAA champion Totino-Grace dropped to 1-10 this season; Armstrong improved to 5-6 overall.
