Armstrong Football Rolls to 5-0 with Win over St. Thomas Academy
The Armstrong football team stayed perfect on the season with a 20-14 win over last year’s Class AAAAA state runner-up, St. Thomas Academy.
The Falcons struck first in the second quarter with a three-yard touchdown pass from Dawson Franke to Farelle Deline.
Armstrong’s Kevon Johnson ran for two touchdowns from 21 and 63 yards out and finished the night with 168 yards on 21 carries.
Noah Gorgos had a late interception for the Falcons.
Armstrong is now 5-0 on the season and will be at Hastings on Friday.
