Armstrong Football Pulls Away Late for Win over Hopkins

The Armstrong football team scored 19 fourth quarter points in a 47-21 win over Hopkins Friday.

Falcons’ quarterback Jamen Malone threw for four touchdown passes in the win while Caleb Jones rushed for 113 yards.

The Falcons’ Jordan McClom returned both a kickoff an interception for touchdowns.

Quarterback JT Zell ran for two touchdowns and threw for another for the Royals (2-2).

The Falcons (2-1) host Irondale Friday while the Royals are at home to play Spring Lake Park.
