Armstrong Football Beats Park Center to Improve to 2-0
After a slow start the Armstrong football team took over on the way to a 34-7 win over Park Center in week two of the prep football season.
After visiting Park Center took a 7-0 lead on a touchdown pass from Jerry Wise to Jerome Gregory, Armstrong’s Zahki Nix scored twice in the second quarter to give the Falcons a 13-7 halftime lead.
They scored twice in the third quarter and once more in the fourth to pull away for the win.
Gabe Hall was 15-for-20 passing for 221 yards and two touchdowns for Armstrong. The Falcons rushed for 187 yards in a balanced attack, averaging 6.2 per carry.
Armstrong is now 2-0.
Park Center falls to 0-2.
