Armstrong/Cooper Girls Lacrosse Edges Totino-Grace/St. Anthony 10-9
Jozy Doty scored with 24 seconds to play to lift the Armstrong/Cooper girls’ lacrosse team to a 10-9 win over Totino-Grace/St. Anthony.
The Eagles led 4-0 in the second quarter before the Wings scored the final four goals of the second quarter to tie the game before halftime.
Armstrong/Cooper built a 9-6 lead in the second half before Totino-Grace/St. Anthony came back to tie with 1:06 to play on Layla Jackson’s fifth goal of the night.
Katie Palony scored six goals to lead Armstrong/Cooper.
The Wings are now 2-0 on the season. It was the first game of the year for the Eagles.
