Armstrong-Cooper Girls Hockey Wins Tournament Opener
The Armstrong-Cooper girls hockey team beat St. Paul-Henry Sibley 3-0 Thursday.
The game was a quarterfinal round contest in the 24th annual Armstrong-Cooper Holiday Classic.
After a scoreless first period, Paige Loidolt scored for the Wings off a pass from Clare Sondrall in the second period.
Makenzie Johnson and Lauren Krueger added goals in the third for the Wings.
Armstrong-Cooper faces Bemidji in the semifinals Friday at New Hope Ice Arena.
