Armstrong-Cooper Girls Hockey Falls to Prior Lake
The Armstrong-Cooper girls hockey team faced a tough opponent Tuesday and lost 7-1 to Prior Lake.
The game was played at the 30th Armstrong-Cooper Holiday Classic, although not part of the bracketed tournament after a team dropped out late leaving an uneven number of teams.
Prior Lake scored three goals in the first and second periods to go up 6-0 through two.
Each team scored once in the third.
Addi Heinicke had two goals and an assist for the Lakers.
Bri LeVoir scored for the Wings.
Armstrong-Cooper is facing Visitation Wednesday afternoon.
The tournament championship game at New Hope Arena features Bemidji vs. Park-Cottage Grove.
