Armstrong-Cooper Boys Hockey Team Eyes Section Title
The Armstrong-Cooper boys hockey team will play for a section title Thursday night.
The Wings, in their first season in Class A, meet Delano in the Section 2A final in St. Louis Park.
Armstrong-Cooper has never been in the state tournament.
As separate programs, Armstrong and Cooper never reached the state tournament either.
Armstrong-Cooper knocked off top seed Orono in the section semifinals Monday.
Delano advanced with a win over Breck.
The Wings and Tigers meet at 7:00 Thursday night at St. Louis Park Rec Center.
