Armstrong/Cooper Boys Hockey Edged 6-5 by Blake
The Armstrong/Cooper boys hockey team lost a non-conference game Thursday, falling 6-5 to Blake.
The Wings led 1-0 after one period before the teams combined for seven goals in the second period, ending the period in a 4-4 tie.
Blake’s Charlie Moore broke a 5-5 tie, scoring the game-winning goal for the Bears with 7:30 to play in the game.
Landon Bell scored two goals and added two assists for the Bears.
Lewis Majkozak and Brady Northrup had a goal and two assists apiece for the Wings.
It was the fifth loss in a row for Armstrong/Cooper (7-11-0) who host Elk River Saturday afternoon.
Blake is now 12-5-0 on the season.
