Armstrong-Cooper Boys Hockey Advances to Section Final
The Armstrong-Cooper boys hockey team advanced to the Section 2A final with a over Orono.
The Wings, in their first season in Class A, knocked off the top-seeded Spartans 4-0 in the semifinals.
Noah Weisjahn staked Armstrong-Cooper to a 1-0 lead in a strong first period.
Joe Campion and his brother Matt scored goals for the Wings in the second.
Ben Anderson added an empty-netter late to send Armstrong-Cooper to Thursday night’s final.
The Wings face Delano for the section title Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at St. Louis Park Rec Center.
