Armstrong Boys Basketball Tops Washburn
The Armstrong boys basketball team started January with a win over Minneapolis Washburn 68-54.
The Falcons built a 12-point halftime lead on the way to the win.
Seth Newbern scored 19 points to lead Armstrong, with Greyson Rennie (18) and Owen Skram (12) also in double figures.
The Falcons are now 5-2 this season and play at Andover Thursday. Armstrong is one of his Northwest Suburban Conference teams to win its first two league games.
