Armstrong Boys Basketball Beats Champlin Park on Buzzer Beater
Navonn Fields hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Armstrong boys basketball team to a 73-70 win over Champlin Park Thursday at Armstrong.
Champlin Park scored late to tie the game at 70-70 as Amory Peterson found Kwatamah Silikpo on a back cut for a layup.
Armstrong brought it upcourt without using a timeout, leading to Fields’ heroics.
Seth Newbern scored 18 points to lead the Falcons, with Charles Duncan adding 17 and Fields 12.
Peterson scored 21 to lead the Rebels.
