Armstrong Baseball Loses to Minneapolis Southwest
Minneapolis Southwest scored four runs in the fourth inning and two more in the fifth on the way to a 6-5 win over Armstrong in prep baseball.
The Falcons took a 3-0 lead in the first inning and held that lead until the Lakers’ four-run fourth.
Armstrong (9-8) answered with two runs in the top of the fifth to retake the lead before Southwest (14-4) scored twice in the bottom of the fifth for the final runs of the game.
Both teams play in Section 6AAAA and could meet in the upcoming section tournament.
