The fourth-ranked Wayzata football team jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead on the way to a 34-14 win over third-ranked St. Michael-Albertville.
Trojans’ running back Julian Alfaro-Diedrich rushed for all five Wayzata touchdowns.
STMA pulled within 21-14 in the third quarter before Diedrich scored twice more in the fourth quarter.
Wayzata (3-0) plays at Totino-Grace (0-3) Friday night in a game you can see live here on CCX.
