# 3 Wayzata Boys Basketball Knocks off # 2 Hopkins
The Wayzata boys basketball team won its 13th straight game as the Trojans beat previously unbeaten Hopkins 93-80.
Nolen Anderson and Christian Wiggins each scored 28 points and Wyatt McBeth added 17 for the Trojans.
Tied at 61 with eight and a half minutes to play, Wayzata went on a 9-0 scoring run to take the lead for good.
Anthony Smith scored 24 points to the Royals. All five Hopkins starters scored in double figures.
The new Class AAAA rankings came out Wednesday morning with Wayzata moving up from three to number two and Hopkins dropping from two to three.
Wayzata (14-2) and Hopkins (13-1) play again February 13th at Hopkins.
