With Valentine’s Day Approaching, Osseo Chocolatier Says ‘Come in Early’
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and an Osseo chocolate shop is busy preparing for the big rush.
Heart-shaped candy, truffles and gift boxes of assorted chocolate, are among the items that will fly off the shelves over the coming week at Painted Turtle Chocolatier.
Staff members at the Osseo chocolate shop say Valentine’s Day is second only to Christmas when it comes to overall sales, and their advice for people is to not wait until the last minute.
“Come in a little early, a day or two. Don’t just come in on Valentine’s Day, because there’s lines of people then,” said Pat Godfrey, owner of Painted Turtle Chocolatier. “Everything’s fresh. We have tons of fresh stuff, so if you can come in early, come in early.”
Painted Turtle is normally closed on Mondays, but they plan to be open on Feb. 12 to accommodate customers.
