West Metro Fire Crews Deliver Presents to Seniors
Firefighters from the West Metro Fire-Rescue District delivered more than 300 bags to senior care centers in New Hope and Crystal on Thursday.
One of the stops included Centennial Gardens in Crystal.
“The staff that works here really gets a kick out of it because they get to be a part of delivering these and having the excitement of doing what we are doing. So we get our excitement and they get theirs and the recipients get theirs. It’s three-fold,” said West Metro Assistant Fire Chief Joel Nelson.
Nelson says the gift bags were donated by residents of New Hope and Crystal.
