West Lutheran’s Standout Students Are Twins
Teachers describe twins Corrin and Jenna Charlson as happy and hardworking students who achieve good grades and are active in sports and extracurricular activities at West Lutheran High School in Plymouth.
“They literally are the happiest two people ever,” said teacher Ashley Jensen. “I learned they bring their work ethic and smiles to everything.”
Corrin and Jenna look very similar, but they are not identical.
Both sisters performed this past spring in West Lutheran’s production of “The Little Mermaid.” Corrin had the lead role as Ariel, and Jenna naturally played one of her mer-sisters.
In college, Corrin will pursue the field of psychology at Concordia University in Wisconsin. Jenna plans to pursue nursing at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
The seniors say they will miss their friends and school community at West Lutheran.
“The friends are a very big part of my faith and also the teachers,” said Corrin.
And they’ll miss each other at college. However, they are confident in their closeness as sisters.
“I think distance will definitely be hard, and that will be the biggest challenge going away to college,” said Jenna. “We are so close and we’re best friends.”
