Weekend Hours Offered at Plymouth’s Driver Exam Station
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety has announced it will now offer weekend hours at three Twin Cities driver exam stations, including the one in Plymouth.
Behind-the-wheel exams on Saturday and Sunday will start Nov. 2 and run through Dec. 22. The announcement is meant to help with the backlog of appointments and reduce the strain on busy families.
Weekend testing hours will run from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. except between Nov. 9-10 and over Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 28 – Dec. 1). The added hours will help offer an additional 3,200 appointments, DPS officials said.
It’s unclear if weekend driver exams will continue in 2020.
