Wayzata Trap and Skeet Shooting Team Practice at Plymouth Gun Club
The Wayzata Trap and Skeet Shooting Team practiced at the Plymouth Gun Club with Plymouth police on June 6. The friendly competition builds camaraderie between police and middle school students.
“It’s for a little fun, camaraderie and get to know each other and bring the kids together with cops. They’re gonna meet them and talk to them and partner up with them and break a few targets together,” said Randal Baker with the gun club.
Baker says target shooting at a school sport started at the Plymouth Gun Club. Now there are more than 11,000 participants in the sport statewide.
