Wayzata Post Office Renamed for Late U.S. Rep. Jim Ramstad
The Wayzata Post Office has been renamed for the late U.S. Rep. Jim Ramstad, who served the 3rd Congressional District for nine terms.
Ramstad passed away last fall.
U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar and U.S. Rep. Dean Phillips pushed legislation to make the name change happen.
Phillips, who represents the third district, said Ramstad “modeled the very behavior that is the antidote to what the country is suffering from right now.”
