Vikings Visit Brooklyn Center’s Crescent Cove
Before the Minnesota Vikings season gets underway, a few players stopped by our area to spread a little goodwill.
Crescent Cove in Brooklyn Center serves children and their families in need of respite or end-of-life care. The facility is the first of its kind in the state and has been open since 2018. On Tuesday, members of the Minnesota Vikings stopped by to say hello.
“The Vikings coming to Crescent Cove today means these kids are so special to so many people,” said Katie Lindenfelser of Crescent Cove. “We hope all the kids and families who are supported by Crescent Cove know this is a place where they can have meaningful moments and have meaningful experiences.”
One of those experiences involved a few Vikings players helping paddle a few kids around the lake in a canoe.
