UPDATE: Brooklyn Center Police Arrest Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run

The Brooklyn Center Police Department has arrested a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run, police said Monday.
Brooklyn Center police were dispatched at 10:22 p.m. on Jan. 30 to the 6800 block of Humboldt — about a block from the police station — on a report of an unconscious male.
Arriving officers found a 26-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle.
Investigators say the suspect vehicle left the scene of the crash before police arrived.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
Police officials say they arrested a man during the afternoon of Jan. 31. They also recovered a vehicle believed to be involved in the crime.
Previously, the police department requested help from the public to identify a suspect.
