UPDATE: Arrest Made in Brooklyn Park Vehicle Shooting
Brooklyn Park police say they have made an arrest related to a case of shots fired at a vehicle in broad daylight.
The incident happened Wednesday at about 4:30 p.m. near the corner of Brooklyn Boulevard and Regent Avenue, according to an alert sent out by Brooklyn Park police.
When police arrived, they located a vehicle with three bullet holes in it. Officers also found the driver of the vehicle who told police that another man shot at him while he was sitting inside his car. The shooter then ran away, police said.
On Thursday afternoon, Brooklyn Park police spokesperson Elliot Faust said that police arrested a 20-year-old suspect in the case.
“We’re still investigating a possible motive,” said Faust.
The suspect is being held at the Brooklyn Park jail for probable cause second-degree assault.
