Under Pressure Brewing to Host OktoBeerMeatFest on Saturday
Under Pressure Brewing Company in Golden Valley is planning plenty of German fun this Saturday, Oct. 12.
The Golden Valley brewery is hosting OktoBeerMeatFeast. One of the highlights of the day is a meterwurst eating competition at 2 p.m. What is a meterwurst you ask? It’s a 39-inch long German sausage. Proceeds from that event will benefit the Cancer Kids Fund through Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.
Under Pressure will also unveil a new beer, a märzen. The event Saturday also includes music, games and delicious food through Big Daddy’s Rockin’ Q food truck.
Owned by Lori Ertl; Lori’s son, Tyler Marchiniak; and John Keenan, Under Pressure Brewing opened in February. The brewery is located off Highway 55 on 7th Avenue.
