Under Pressure Brewing Celebrates First “Beerth-day”
Under Pressure Brewing in Golden Valley celebrates one year of operation with a big celebration on Saturday that involves food, music and a few special beer releases. The brewery is known for unique events, like tricycle jousting, bacon-eating contests, or Ukrainian egg decorating. They recently held an armored combat competition.
The owner says the first year of business has been quite a ride. Lori Ertl says Under Pressure is Minnesota’s first brewery and blendery.
“We’ve come up with these concoctions, so we have 30 blends you can do,” explained Ertl. “You can get a naughty tart, which is apple and cranberry ale or a chocolate volcano, which is a smoked beer and black IPA.”
