Pilgrim Dry Cleaners Collecting Scout Uniforms
Pilgrim Dry Cleaners is hosting its 12th annual Scouting for Uniforms Drive through the month of July. Pilgrim will collect Scout uniforms at each of its 27 locations. They will be cleaned, given to Northern Star Scouting for distribution to a scout in need.
“This is one of our three programs that we do throughout the year,” said Keona Tranby, with Pilgrim Cleaners in Brooklyn Park. “The whole month we do the scouting program called Scouting for Uniforms. We have collected over four thousand uniforms for kids in need since the beginning of our drive and we’ve been doing this for 13 years.”
The drive is also collecting monetary donations too, on the Northern Star Scouting website. Proceeds will be used to purchase additional uniforms in high demand and sizes.
