Together Again in Person, Plymouth Celebrates Happy Birthday America Parade
Smiling faces and families returned near the Hilde Performance Center for the annual Happy Birthday America Parade. The event wasn’t held last year due to COVID-19.
“It’s just super-duper exciting to have people back in the parks and have events going on and having everyone together again,” said Hannah Windschitl, program coordinator with the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department. “It’s such a great feeling to have everyone together here.”
Families first gathered near the Hilde Performance Center to decorate bicycles and tricycles with balloons, streamers, and just about anything that was red, white, or blue or even star-spangled.
Then, the Hamel VFW Post 5903 led the parade of families through the Hilde right to a magic show.
