In a candidate statement recorded for CCX News, Clark Gregor says he has served on Plymouth’s environmental, charter and planning commissions. “I want our city government to be more transparent, inclusive and responsive for you. I will work hard to ensure strong public safety. I’ll be thoughtful in consideration of economic development and growth, and I’ll strive to protect our environment. Understanding our city’s needs comes back to listening. I want to hear your perspectives and lift up your voice,” Gregor stated.
In Peterson’s candidate statement, she described herself as a wife, mother of three sons, attorney and member of the Plymouth Charter Commission. “As your city council person, I will focus on our infrastructure and core services, strive to protect our environment, and prioritize a healthy business community, affordable housing, excellent parks and recreation, safe and secure streets, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion for all,” Peterson stated.
Julie Pointner, meanwhile, said in her candidate statement that she’s served on Plymouth’s planning commission for the last two years. “My priorities include supporting strong and responsive public safety, preserving and protecting our environment, and maintaining our parks and recreation areas, and ensuring affordable housing for all forms, for all phases of our residents’ lives. Because stable housing is a foundation of security for you and our city’s economy,” Pointner stated.
