Three Brooklyn Park Residents Charged for Looting in Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park
The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office has announced charges against 16 people in connection to the looting that happened overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Three of the people charged are from Brooklyn Park.
One of the charges filed is against Jason Graves, 23, from Brooklyn Park. Graves is charged with third-degree burglary at a store in the 100 block of West Grant Street.
Other charges came for the burglary at Pixie Liquor in Brooklyn Park. A police officer thwarted the burglary, but the owner says the burglars still caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.
Individuals charged for involvement include:
- Phillip Scott, 21, of Brooklyn Park with third-degree burglary
- Shantel Scott, 20, of Brooklyn Park with third-degree burglary
