‘The Need Gets Greater and Greater,’ Maple Grove Memory Care Facility Expands
A Maple Grove memory care facility is doubling in size to help meet the area’s growing need for senior care.
Beehive Homes on Weaver Lake Road is opening its second addition of 20-plus rooms this week. The facility focuses on all stages of memory care.
“We were keeping our community full and we understand the need gets greater and greater, so we were happy to be able to add the additional room,” said owners Ioana and Joe Childs.
The owners say their plan has always been to have two sections of memory care open. They opened the first section of the facility three years ago, and describe the property like ‘a house with 20 bedrooms.’
The first resident moves in this week.
Finishing touches are going in an expansion on Beehive Homes, a facility in Maple Grove.
