Teacher of the Year Candidates Announced
Education Minnesota released the names of 75 teachers who are candidates for teachers of the year. Several teachers from local districts are on the list.
- Jamie Weisz, a special education teacher at Champlin Park High School
- Kris Holsen, a drama teacher at Birch Grove Elementary School for the Arts
- Peter Pearson, a fourth grade teacher at Fernbrook Elementary
- Jessica Stewart, a social studies teacher at Osseo Senior High
- Kathryn Kneeland, teacher at Armstrong High School
- France Roberts, a first grade teacher at Meadow Ridge Elementary
