Suspected Serial Bank Robber Charged, Linked to Brooklyn Park Robbery
Police believe a suspected serial bank robber is linked to at least five robberies in the north metro, including one in Brooklyn Park. The Brooklyn Park robbery happened at the TCF Bank branch inside the Cub Foods north of Highway 610.
Police believe Brock Esaw, 34, of Anoka is linked to at least five bank robberies in the north metro.
So far, charging documents accuse Esaw of robbing banks in Blaine and Coon Rapids.
The robbery in Brooklyn Park happened Saturday afternoon at the TCF Bank Branch inside the Cub Foods north of Highway 610. The suspect handed the teller a note and claimed to have a weapon. He got away with money, but was later arrested by Blaine Police.
