Standout Student: Highview’s Julius Robinson
Julius Robinson is about to graduate from Robbinsdale Academy Highview and teachers say they’ll remember his determination and good manners for years to come.
“I get emotional talking about this young man,” says Steve Burton, who is Academic Liaison at Robbinsdale Academy Highview. “He’s one of those students who you always miss [after they leave], but always talk about as an example.”
Julius Robinson is a quiet student, but he’s laser-focused on graduation. He started Highview in the fall after moving from out-of-state. Teachers say he’s polite and smart, especially in math.
“For him to pursue engineering or the science field as a career would be an attribute to what a good student he is,” says Dustin Dobitz, his science teacher. “He doesn’t know how good of a student he is.”
Julius is humble about his academics, but he does admit that he likes math. He enjoys the order, the absolute answers, and the sense of accomplishment that completing a math problem can bring.
“I like solving problems,” says Julius. “The challenge of solving problems is fun to me.”
Julius Robinson will graduate from the Highview program this spring and hopes to pursue a career using his math skills.
