Stages Theatre Kicks Off 40th Season with “The Day You Begin”
Stages Theatre Co. in Hopkins is kicking off its 40th season this weekend with a regional premiere of the musical “The Day You Begin.”
The show is about kids of diverse backgrounds who learn to accept one another and themselves.
“It has a very good message,” said Caidance Kue, a seventh-grade student from FAIR School Crystal and one of the actors in the show.

This is the first show that Stages Theatre has done in collaboration with a dance company. Stages worked with Minneapolis-based Threads Dance Project.
“The Day You Begin” musical opens tonight and runs through Oct. 22.
