St. Raphael Catholic School Sings to Veterans
St. Raphael Catholic School in Crystal offered brunch and a thoughtful performance by students for veterans at this year’s Veterans Day event.
“We want to teach the kids generous hearts and how to be charitable, serviceable like the veterans,” explained Joan Wieland, spokesperson for St. Raphael’s. “So the kids love to come because they can see an example in these guys in how they live.”
Around 60 veterans from the community attended.
