St. Alphonsus Church Prepares for Christmas Bazaar
The Christmas Bazaar brings together people from several parts of Brooklyn Center and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
“One thing that’s just wonderful about this project is it’s brought the whole community together,” said Jan Althoff, one of the organizers. “We have many people that are helping us.”
The Christmas Bazaar at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Avenue North in Brooklyn Center, is scheduled for Saturday, November 9 from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, November 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Bazaar features many wonderful handmade craft items; a large used book sale, a bake sale and a wonderful raffle drawing to be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Food will also be served.
Money raised will go back into projects at the church, in the school, and in the community.
