St. Alphonsus Christmas Bazaar is Nov. 12-13, Bake Sale will ‘Knock Your Socks Off’
The women of St. Alphonsus have been hosting a Christmas Bazaar for 62 years at their Brooklyn Center church.
This year’s Bazaar on Nov. 12-13 features crafts, decorations, a huge book sale, and a bake sale that organizer Eileen Irgens says will “knock your socks off.”
“It’s a huge bake sale,” said Irgens. “After everything we’ve been through with the pandemic, last year when we got together for the first time it was so wonderful to see everyone again. That’s what will happen this year too, only it’ll be even larger.”
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days. On Saturday, there will be a choir performing at 2 p.m. and then Santa Claus and Ms. Claus will visit on Sunday. After 3 p.m. on Sunday there will be a book clearance sale, where a bag full of books will only cost you $3.
