Spring Babies Festival Brings Cuddles and Cuteness to Brooklyn Park
Off Highway 169 near the Brooklyn Park-Champlin border is an experience that takes visitors back to the area’s farming past.
The Spring Babies Festival is an opportunity for kids and families to experience and hold all kinds of baby farm animals.
“We’ll have one of our staff hand you over something you can hold, a little baby animal that will snuggle with you — and that experience is very rewarding,” said farmer Bert Bouwman who founded the festival. “It’s almost therapeutic.”
The petting area includes baby goats, puppies, sheep, chicks and other animals. The festival grounds also includes a corn pit, straw bale maze and inflatables. Food trucks will also be on site.
The Spring Babies Festival runs every weekend through the first weekend in May. Tickets are available online.
