Spavia in Maple Grove Reopens, Sees Clients Concerned About Mask Breakouts
A Maple Grove day spa named Spavia adjusted services to reopen with greater COVID-19 precautions including requiring masks and new green cleaning products.
“It’s been a little bit of a challenge but we are making it though,” said owner Cristina Nolte.
Nolte says they’ve got a new vendor of hospital-grade, green cleaning products that they are using on surfaces and in the air.
She says the spa is even seeing more people concerned with breakouts on their skin that come from wearing masks, a condition that’s being called “maskne.”
Staff members have been recommending treatments and products for clients.
“Now more than ever, self-care is important,” said Nolte.
