Sohoni, Liddle and Kader Win Wayzata School Board Seats
Voters elected three candidates for Wayzata School Board on Tuesday night.
Incumbents Milind Sohoni and Heidi Kader won election, as well as Alicia Liddle, who received the second-most votes.
A total of six candidates appeared on the ballot for the three open seats.
Sohoni received 20.4 percent of the vote or 4,776 votes total. Liddle had 20.1 percent and 4,693 votes. Kader received 18.5 percent or 4,332 total votes.
One of the seats did not have an incumbent. Sarah Johansen, who served since 2013, did not run for re-election.
Other candidates who ran included Kate Knight, Laura Conway and Julie Joseph. Here’s the complete voter results:

Sohoni was first elected in 2021 and currently serves as chair of the Wayzata School Board. Kader was also first elected in 2021 and currently serves as vice chair. Liddle has been an active volunteer, serving as a PTA board member and district liaison committee member.
The Wayzata School Board has seven members who are elected to serve four-year terms.
