Shuttered Robbinsdale Gas Station To Become Starbucks Coffee Shop
A shuttered Robbinsdale gas station will soon meet the wrecking ball to make way for a new coffee shop.
City officials say demolition of the Robbinsdale Oil building along Lakeland Avenue is expected to begin this week.
Once that finishes, crews will begin work on the construction of a new Starbucks coffee shop.
The 800-square-foot coffee shop will function primarily as a drive-through, but there may be limited outdoor seating.
Robbinsdale City Planner Rick Pearson says he thinks the Starbucks could open later this year.
