Several Fire Departments Respond to Crystal House Fire
A call for a garage fire at a home on Georgia Avenue in Crystal quickly escalated to a call for several departments from as far away as Rogers to respond to a house fire. Fire crews had the fire knocked down within a half hour. There was no immediate report of injuries.
West Metro Fire Chief Sarah Larson says the fire engulfed the attached garage but did not make it to the main house. Larson says the garage and breezeway to the home will be a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
