Second Dunkin’ Coffee Shop Coming to Maple Grove
People in Maple Grove will soon have a new spot to get their fix of caffeine and doughnuts.
Dunkin’, which shortened its name from Dunkin’ Donuts, is moving into a site near the intersection of Weaver Lake Road and Elm Creek Boulevard.
The former occupant of that location, JC’s Bar & Grill, closed last May. According to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page, the mall changed ownership and decided not to extend the restaurant’s lease.

A letter on JC’s Bar & Grill explains the reason for the closure.
Maple Grove city officials say the new Dunkin’ will open sometime in February, becoming the second Dunkin’ in the city.
